Important: All players, coaches, trainers, and managers must be registered VNZ members before participating in any Inter-Provincial Competition (IPC), Zone qualifying league/tournament, or other VNZ events and programmes including Secondary School events.
Memberships are valid for one year and must be renewed annually.
VNZ Individual Membership Categories (GST inclusive):
Adult Membership (includes tertiary students and all not attending secondary school) $54.60 inc GST
Secondary School Student Membership $21 inc GST
Volunteer Membership (Non-playing roles such as Coach, Manager, or Referee) FREE
Note: Athletes competing in all NZ Secondary Schools Volleyball Competitions now need to purchase Student memberships through our sign up below.
Your annual membership fee to Volleyball New Zealand supports the growth of community volleyball by funding initiatives such as coaching and referee development, digital engagement, membership and competition management systems, communication resources, and athlete development programs. In 2025, Volleyball New Zealand significantly upgraded its event and competition management technology, leading to a clear separation of membership and event management fees for greater transparency.
