Professional Profile
Former New Zealand Beach Volleyball Representative and highly experienced National Beach Volleyball Coach with more than 15 years of coaching and athlete development experience across regional, national, and international programmes.
Since 2010, I have played a leading role in the development of New Zealand's emerging beach volleyball talent, serving as National Women's Coach across the U17, U19, and U21 age groups. My experience includes talent identification, athlete pathway development, squad selection, programme planning, coach mentoring, and leading teams at major international events including World Championships, Asian Championships, Youth Commonwealth Games, and Youth Olympic Games.
I am passionate about creating positive, high-performance environments that challenge athletes to reach their potential while developing resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love of sport. Throughout my coaching career I have successfully guided athletes to international podium finishes and helped numerous young players progress through New Zealand's performance pathway.
My coaching philosophy combines athlete-centred development with high expectations, strong relationships, and a commitment to helping every athlete become the best version of themselves both on and off the sand.
Coaching Highlights
Coaching Philosophy
"Success in beach volleyball is about more than results. It is about developing capable, resilient and confident young people who are prepared to challenge themselves, embrace opportunities, and pursue excellence. My role is to create an environment where athletes can grow, learn, and achieve things they never thought possible."
