The Inter-Provincial Beach Volleyball Championships is a premier domestic event that brings together the best junior athletes from across New Zealand’s 16 provincial associations. Held annually in Mount Maunganui, the competition features boys’ and girls’ U17 and U19 divisions, showcasing the depth of talent within the regional pathway.

The event fosters strong provincial pride and rivalry, while also serving as a crucial talent identification opportunity for national selectors. The Inter-Provincials provide a vital stepping stone for young athletes aspiring to progress to national and international levels, while strengthening connections across the volleyball community.

Location📍 Mount Maunganui Main Beach, Tauranga

Teams must be entered via Provincial Representative.

• Entries Close: Monday, 28th December 2026
• Team Rosters Due in Teambuilder: Monday, 30th November 2026
• Sign-in/Welcoming Ceremony: Monday, 15th December @ 7:15 am
• Technical Meeting: Monday, 14th December @ 7:30am 

All players, managers and coaches are encouraged to attend the welcoming ceremony and technical meeting held on center court
