2025 South Island Junior Secondary Schools Championships

The Volleyball New Zealand South Island Junior Secondary Schools Championships 

Today, the forever-growing event stands as the pinnacle of South Island Junior volleyball competition, celebrating excellence, unity, and the enduring spirit of our volleyball whānau.


Membership requirements

Volleyball NZ is now using the Sporty membership platform for all our national events, therefore all players are required to register via our membership page https://www.sporty.co.nz/VNZ/about-us/vnz-membership


  • Each student must now purchase an annual VNZ Student membership ($21 incl GST) expiry 30 June 2026
  • Each volunteer involved with a team must also be entered as a volunteer in membership (free)
  • As membership lasts until 30 June 2026 it will cover NZ Secondary Schools Championships in March 2026 should your junior players from this year play in that tournament.

Join us for a fun mid-week Player Social as part of the South Island Junior Volleyball Championships!

βœ… All coaches and team staff must sign in their team lists on-site and remain at the venue for the full duration.

🎀 Guest Speaker β€“ upstairs🍴

🎢 Music  Court 1 will be carpeted and turned into a safe, fun social area with adult supervision
