Volleyball New Zealand (VNZ) Transgender and Inclusion guidelines are currently under review.
Volleyball New Zealand (VNZ) is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment where all people can participate in volleyball regardless of their gender identity, gender expression or sex characteristics.
VNZ recognises that sport contributes to wellbeing, belonging, confidence, personal development and community connection. Everyone should be able to access these benefits without discrimination, exclusion, harassment, or fear of mistreatment.
Ngā Wāhine Hākinakina o Aotearoa | Women in Sport Aotearoa (WISPA), in partnership with InsideOUT Kōaro and with funding from the Clare Foundation, has launched the Transgender Inclusion in Community Sport Toolkit – a practical, evidence-based resource to help sports organisations across Aotearoa create welcoming spaces for transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people.
