TERTIARY CHAMPIONSHIPS

2026 Event Info

Volleyball New Zealand is pleased to announce that the National University and Tertiary Volleyball Championships will be held in Palmerston North this year. The event is a collaborative effort with University and Tertiary Sport New Zealand, Sport Manawatū, and Massey University.

Key Dates/Timeline

  • Friday 26th of June - 5pm – Player Registrations close.
    • Entry fees will be invoiced by VNZ to the universities contact once registrations are closed.
  • Wednesday 1st July - 2026/27 individual VNZ memberships due
  • Friday 3rd of July – Event Manual and Draw distributed to team managers.
  • Monday 6th of July – Completed electronic participation agreements due.
  • Wednesday 8th July - Online technical meeting, managers and coaches are advised to be in attendance
    • link to be issued.
  • Saturday 11th of July - fees and signed participation agreements due
    • 8am the event begins with a welcome (attendance by all)
    • 9am first round commences
