Volleyball New Zealand has launched the consultation phase of its national Competitions & Regulations Review, aimed at building a future-proofed, inclusive, and athlete-centred event system.
Over the last two years, we’ve gathered in-depth feedback from across the community – schools, clubs, coaches, players, parents, and officials. Now, we’re testing the solutions.
We’re asking for your views on the future direction of:
- NZ Secondary Schools Championships & Satellite Events
- Interprovincial Championships (IPC Indoor)
- NZ Club Championships
- Beach Volleyball events: NZBT, Junior Beach, Schools
- A potential National Volleyball League (NVL)
Each survey explores high-level topics such as:
- Event structure and formats
- Accessibility and entry pathways
- Strategic alignment and growth
- Timing and calendar coordination
- Fairness, wellbeing, and inclusivity
