Dynasty Next Gen Programme

Dynasty Next Gen is a programme in Volleyball NZ's performance space.  It is replacing the old NZ youth / U17 programme, by providing a high quality programme to engage significant numbers of athletes and coaches into enjoyable and positive volleyball experiences.  Each Dynasty Next Gen camp will focus on developing the skills and mindsets needed to be sucessful long term in volleyball.  If you love the game of volleyball, are looking to grow your game, and interested in representing New Zealand at international events, this programme is for you.


Below are the dates for the upcoming camps:

Four Regional Indoor Camps
  • Pioneer Stadium - Christchurch 19-20 April 
  • ASB Stadium - Wellington 21-22 April
  • Bruce Pulman - Auckland 26-27 April
  • Trust Power Baypark - Tauranga 29-30 April 
  • National Indoor Camp - July 2022

World University Beach Champs and Pacific Mini Games 2022 Expression of Interest

Volleyball NZ are seeking expressions of interest for the following:

FISU World University Beach Champs in Lake Placid, New York, 24-28 August 2022. 
Pacific Mini Games in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, 17-25 June 2022. 

To be considered for selection, athletes will need to complete the following form by Sunday 13th February 2022. EOI Form

It is intended that two teams per gender will be selected with athletes covering there own cost of attendance to the tournament.

Only the following may participate as athletes in a FISU World University Championship:
a) Students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at a university or similar institute whose status is recognized by the appropriate national academic authority of their country;
b) Former students of the institutions mentioned in a) who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the calendar year preceding the event;
c) Be a national of the country they represent (New Zealand);
d) Be at least 18 and no older than 25 years of age on the 31st December of the year of the event, for 2022, athletes must be born between the 01/01/1997 and the 31/12/2004.
