Tournament Seeding Update

2025 process will be based primarily off the 3 tiered ratioed system similar to the NZSS Indoor

Additionally, all regions will have one secured spot in the top 32. If a region does not send a team, then their position will be given to the next highest team based off the ratioed system.

For 2025 regions are recommended to continue their regional based Secondary School events and use the results for these tournaments to establish the seedings of their schools. This will ensure teams are being correctly seeded with in their respective areas, increase accuracy of the seeding in the National event and improve overall player experience.

Note: VNZ will be working to develop the seeding processes further for 2026 and beyond to ensure clear and fair guidelines are in place for our Beach Volleyball events.
