Operations Manager - Volleyball Hawkes Bay

Volleyball Hawkes Bay envisages leading the Hawkes Bay/Poverty Bay in providing quality Volleyball opportunities and leading the community in participation and developing players, coaches and officials.

The Board is seeking to appoint a diverse future focused Operations Manager. This is a key relationship role, providing on-the-ground support to key stakeholders, helping build capability, growing participating and engaging with schools and clubs throughout the community, leading and managing staff, and day to day administration working to achieving Volleyball Hawkes Bays goals.

We require someone who is passionate about the development of sport; someone who looks to the future and has a creative approach to growing our capability. You will need to be able to work with a wide variety of people.

This role requires a person who can manage multiple relationships, responsibilities, initiatives and bring projects to life over a diverse region. You will need to be a person who is self-motivated, innovative and highly organised.

The successful candidate will need to be able to work some outside “normal working hours”.

This is a full time contract 40 hours per week fixed term from one year from appointment, with the opportunity to become a full time permanent position reporting to the board.
